wow LOL why always rushing shit at the last moment.. no time to find sponsors no time to get visa no time to practice, ? damn it.. invain these guys money wasted on visa wasim contributed alot for this from his pocket
players are burdened by your actions everysingle time sigh...... if things continue like this i wonder when any cs team could travel with costs covered
asian tournaments are the cheapest way of gaining an international title .
more international titles = easier to get sponsors for even more major events

i'm so dissapointed...

like you know sunday observer interviews random people on the road. now a well structured interview can also help clear up the bad reputation gaming has in SL.
example of interview
1)what to do you think of video games
2) what to do you think of competitive gaming
now when you use lead-in questions like this you can change the way people think at least by a slight degree
3) the international community  hosts gaming events with prize pools of $50k, what you think of that?
4)professional gamers are paid a monthly wage and have expenses covered to travel around the world to PLAY. what do you think about that? how do you feel about your pussy ass job now?
5)now b***h answer question 1 and 2
okay i think i got a little carried but nuff said now you have an idea of what im looking for

well what video game  tell us to do good things?  its all about killing  ^   thats what  our parents tinks  :S to us its a way to release the stress and have fun !  well my life went backward from the The beginning and because of gaming i found meaning of my life xD  we suld show them the bright side then might bad image will flush away unleash something crazier happen ..  when Our boys win WCG once everything will be fine ^  if anything can make our country proud  nothing else matter !

True, it has to be a major breakthrough, if any team in any game wins a major international tournament, this topic is gonna be highly talked about, lot of media attention and hence sponsors will spring up. One major win could make a big difference. but to attend any international tournament there has to be sponsors in the first place T__T

hmm but even if there were many opportunities in Sri Lanka for gaming, i doubt the minds of Sri Lankan parents would change. Sri Lanka is pretty much a country in which a child could not decide what field he or she wishes to work in. Most of the time parents would want to see their children as doctors or engineers.
