Great to see a vendor maintain good service over a long period. I used to frequent that place as a kid, when they were at Deanston Place. Same good service back then as well.

Just install 64 bit windows and you should be fine.

32 bit windows can address only 4GB of RAM in total. Part of it gets reserved for system resources. Only between 2GB and 3GB can be used.

Did you buy an Intel sealed box processor or a seal broken one? Seal broken boxes are usually those repacked here, and you might get a 2nd grade stock cooler with it, and not Intel's own.

If you got a sealed box, then the cooler is original, so it could be a case of a one off faulty cooler.

Save some bucks and go for the AOC I2251FWE at 20k. Best monitor in that entire price bracket.

AOC should work for you. Works with NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel HD graphics. The Tri-def engine provided runs extremely well.

This card performs better than a GT 640 that sells for 15K+ so pretty good deal. 512MB will not significantly bottleneck your card at this level of performance.

Good luck with your sale.

Thanks for the praises guys. It means a lot to us.

Good deal. These PSUs have gone up in price now. New stocks will cost around 16K at least.

But why sell such an awesome PSU?

All packages in SL are so overpriced compared to India. You can get 250 SD channels and 20+ HD channels from Videocon for around 400 INR (900 LKR) per month, for example. Perhaps here they need to cover their initial and running costs through much fewer subscribers.

Also what would be the  motherboard i should be looking for if i need an upgrade from the intel one around the price of Rs. 20000.
Your best options would be a Gigabyte Z77-DS3H or Asus P8Z77-V LX

im planning to buy a flat screen from china this month.what would be my best choice ?
If you're going there, visit the store and compare, then decide. Displays are subjective to some extent, so what you like matters. IMO, there are pros and cons with each brand, but you'll be served well with any decent brand.

hey man thanks fr the info...i already chkd that screen at redline..hvnt had time to chk colors...is it made in india?does it have a tv tuner?
AOC manufactures their displays in China just like everybody else. Some models are different in different markets. Sri Lanka gets the models available in the Indian market so we refer to the Indian site.
