Yes if you have a 4 Port or if you r going to use wifi yes. But Wifi may make it slow Cable will be faster. Again if you hv a Gigabit Switch it makes it even faster with CAT6 cable.

DDR5 and DDR3 don't differ according to PCI versions. The main difference is GDDR5 has much more higher bandwidth than GDDR3. (System RAM uses DDR but graphic cards use GDDR. They are mostly similar but have some differences) And this video will explain you more about this.
