I'm looking for a monitor with 1920x1080 resolution and with hdmi compatibility( as I'll be using this as a secondary monitor with my laptop).
That's pretty much it and my budget right now is around 12-15k.

No Game Zone / Paypal for receiving money

I saw many threads asking this question but I couldn't find a convincing answer.
So,
I want to know how to receive money to paypal (I already have an account with a Commercial Debit Card, which won't allow me to receive any money other than refunds).
Can someone explain to me the safest and easiest method to this? Should I close my existing account and create a new Paypal account or is there any other method.

I'm searching for a laptop for my sister, which she will be using for office applications, browsing and skype (uni work), pretty much only that.
It should be 13" or less, and lightweight too, cause she will need to take the laptop everyday for uni work.
Price range is about 90k.

So if you have one please comment below, looking for a brandnew one but okay with a light used one

I plan on buying a laptop this April for a budget around 70-80k. I'll be using it for a few edits by Photoshop, some training in programming, and then home use.
Can you guys please suggest me a laptop to buy for this price range.

I have been playing cod4 for quite a time now and now feel like its the time to move on. So i came up to choose between bf3 n cs:go.

What is better in graphics??
Better gameplay??
Largrst community??
And which one use up most of my internet package??

Or are there any other games with similar system requiremens, for me to try??

If I want to upgrade my RAM, should the new RAM be of the same brand and speed? Will it work with a different speed and brand?
(I have a gskill 4gb 1333Mhz ddr3 ram, will it work with cosair 4gb 1333Mhz?)

My motherboard model is GA-H61M-S2P bought from techzone 2 years ago(now regretting I couldn't go with redline or egs). And now like from 5 months there had been a problem. When I sometimes start the System unit, the power comes (I can hear the fans working) and suddenly again stops and restarts itself. I'm not sure its a problem with the mobo or the psu (delux 420W). Someone please help!!

Should I go to techzone to see about this or what please help!!

Clans / New clan :- The Freaky Brotherhood. (Now recruiting)

I thought of starting a new clan here in gamer.lk. I came up with this name "The Freaky Brotherhood"(can change if needed).

Presently decided for cod4 players. But if more players join, other games will be also possible.

These are the requirements for the gamers who looking forward in joining, the cod4 team of the clan.
1) Age : between 13 to 17 ( can cooperate well with same age players )
2) Living close by to Moratuwa, Panadura, Horana and Kalutara, so we can meet in person to communicate.(Even if u are a bit far and can come to the above mentioned places u can join)
3) Should be able to participate in both online and LAN competitions.
4) Should have at least have the morning session of one day of the weekend free for practice sessions.
5) Should have some vacations free so that we can have inter-clan LAN matches.

So, if u guys meet these requirements and willing to join YOU ARE ALL WELCOME. Post below or PM me or @Chanuda Selaka.

Guys, I have to give a speech on next Tuesday in the Effective Speech session for the semester. So I thought of giving it about Social Networking, good and bad sides. So I want ur thoughts and views about this at least before Saturday (24th).

And I'm not a user of Facebook so I want to know about the statistics of how many users engage daily, and annually in Facebook. And I want a touch of detail about the Facebook incidents which happened locally and internationally.

Hey I'm going to buy a tab as mentioned in the topic. I thought of a Galaxy Note 8.0 (After some research in GSM arena). Are there any better ones for the same price range. I hope to use it also as a mobile phone so 4g is a must.

And I also want to know where to buy this? Any good store with cheap prices and good warranty?

No Game Zone / Starting a new game cafe [ADVICE PLS]

I thought of starting a new game cafe along with an internet cafe. My father is a retired custom officer, he is so bored to stay at home so I gave him the idea. Well it was good idea. But I really don't know very much of how to and the way to start this.

It'll be in Panadura, our area, there are gamers here but no major gaming cafe therefore no place to play LAN. So Panadura is a good area to start with.

I would like to know about the PCs to be used(specifications), consoles, displays, ACs, gaming equipments, headsets about monthly or occasional competitions to be organized.Please Help soon cause we thought of starting it in very near future like January, February and March.

I thought of starting with 10 PCs and 2 PS3s with two mid range projectors for team matched and competitions.

Yesterday when I was watching the 6th ODI SL vs ENG, there I saw an advertisement of E-Wis computers where computers were produce in Sri Lanka or assembled.

So if any of u guys own this type computer or laptop or even if u know about this please post in for us who really do not know about these .
Processors,Rams,hards,vgas and other specifications can be posted. And the prices too.
