gold 3 is better than 2

gay gun is the automatic sniper rifle which in the hands of the right player is quite deadly so people hate it. so losers call it gaygun.

when someone says go ECO that mean's dont buy anything at the start of the round.

I am completely new to CS GO. I dont know a thing about cs or cs go. And I started playing competitive matches xD I just have some questions which i didnt quite get the answer from google. How do you rank up your badge ? I mean like how do you go from one badge to another ? And is 'GOLD 3' better or lower than 'GOLD 2' ? And what do you mean by these words ? ('Cause I hear them alot :3) gaygun, eco ??

Please help.
