Hardware / Peripherals / Sound Card(ports) Problem HELP!!! (Y)

Guys i have an Onboard Motherboard with onboard soundcard, from yesterday my sound ports are not working (mic, speakerz etc ports not detecting) Does this mean i have to replace a new sound card? :S
Is it possible that the sound card of an onboard motherboard spoil individually? :S

I want to find a house for rent offer me help folkz!  Its a bit of a hurry, below are my expectations.

• Location- Closer to Dehiwala, Bambalapitiya, Battaramulla or any other. (Western Province Only)
• Monthly Rate- An average amount which not may matter much for me currently.
• Rooms- At least 2 or 3
• But bit concerned with a low advance payment (key money) mainly because our family current liquidity level is poor.
