No Game Zone / SLT 4G: What You Need To know

So i was mainly gonna make this topic to help you guys who are deciding on whether to get SLT 4G or Dialog 4G. As many people go for the Much widely advertised Dialog 4G option i want to bring to light about The SLT alternative

I got this mainly because i have university work and i travel to Colombo a lot

Please Keep in Mind
SLT is a company which i hate down to the core. i am in no way affiliated with those pricks. this is an honest user experience i want to share with you guys

I will Keep updating you guys as the days go along and in a month i will give my full review


DAY 01


Went to the main office at 9.30 ish. Surprised they didnt recognize my voice and kick me out xD. Met with a fellow that was genuinely interested in helping me out. Filled some forms and got out in about 15 mins
Note: Exact Same Huawei LTE router as given by dialog

I switched ont he router and eagerly awaited till the bloody connection was set. Around 4.30. Then i began the testing.

Signal wise Very poor. inside my house there was virtually no signal. When i went upstairs i got a solid 1 bar
Speed test showed a 3.5mbps max download and 130 Ping
When i went to the balcony i got a two bar
Speed test showed a stable 35 ms Ping and 16mbps Down!!! which is extremely satisfactory when you consider that it was not at full signal.

So far i got what i wanted for my money. Lets See what will happen

Team BellaTriX / IIG: Massive Update (Roster Changes, The Future of the Clan, etc)

Over the last 3 years our clan Immortal Inferno Gamers went from being a relatively new clan to making ourselves a name in the Srilankan Gaming Community. During our first year we took part in a few major tournaments held in Srilanka and even though we did not secure any high rankings we had fun and enjoyed playing with other clans

Over the last year and a half our clan was in a slump with many of our members being inactive due to various complications.(myself included) and therefore our clan became dull


But as of October this month IIG has Dropped its entire COD roster and all members who have been busy with schoolwork have been given time off to complete their work


Where does this leave us then?

We have decided to go for a DOTA 2 and Counterstike only pro teams

We welcome all players to join our clan no matter what game you play


New Members from  games like - Tekken, TrackMania, NFS MW, CS are most welcome to apply to join our clan [to apply please contact our co leaders or visit our facebook page

This is definitely not the end more like ver 2.0 for our clan


Our goal is to make a name for ourselves and Get a good standing in the Srilankan eSports scene and hopefully you maybe able to assist us.

Communal Assistance / Port Forwarding help

i use the shitty slt router provided

if you guys know how to port forward please tell me. i would greatly appreciate it - solved


so i enabled port forwarding and for the first half an hour every thing was fine. But then it went back to normal. Any ideas? My guess is since slt has dynamic ips the ip changes

So guys i was wondering what the upload speeds for sl isp's are. I know that slt has a 512kbps(total joke). I was wondering what the dialog, etisalat, mobitel ones are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also could u guys give me some tips on how to maximize my upload speed.

2013 / SLCG '14 Date Confirmed

If you are organizing this years or even the future  SLCG. Heres a small tip. Please oragnize it in the month of december or even during the end of november. Why you may ask. Mainly because most gamers are school students. And we would love to take part. But the month of september and october , specially november is the pinnacle of activity. For international schools that is the begining of the first term. And for government schools that is the 3rd term. Im sure all of you have been to school, and you know what a headache 3rd term exams are.. So just please take these facts into consideration.

Also i was wondering if you guys could put in Halo 1v1 tournaments or CoD Ghosts 1v1 on console.
