LCGZ Call of Duty 4 Server / Donations for LCGZ COD4 server

LCGZ is currently having a large overhead cost with all the servers they are hosting. Especially the COD4 pub server is pretty expensive. Azian and Rasty, owners of the server are requesting donations. All who are enjoying the game server, if you would like to help bear the cost, donate whatever you are willing to. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Communal Assistance / COD5; WaW initializaton error! Help!

LCGZ Call of Duty 4 Server / Hardcore vs. Normal mode on CoD4 server

We gave the Hardcore vs. Normal mode argument some thought and we are trying to implement one of these:

Option 1: Buy another PAM4 server with only HC S&D and Convert the current server to 24/7 normal mode (This might include donations from the public to fund the new server)

Option 2: Implement variety of sessions on the current server as mentioned below

• sundays - 24 hours Normal mode session with vote calling enabled
• saturdays - 24 hours Hardcore mode session with only S&D gametype
• weekdays - 6am to 6pm Normal mode. Rest of the night Hardcore mode

Option 3: Leave everything as it is. Hardcore forever!

LCGZ Call of Duty 4 Server / LCGZ COD4 Server rules

Due to many problems we came across in the server (trash talking, votekicking unnecessarily, vote spamming, text spamming, martyrdom etc.) we decided to put up some rules which will have to be obeyed by all. This is not to restrict freedom but we are compelled to do this to protect the interests of the majority of players.

Rules

General rules

• Be modest. This is a public server.
• Don't accuse someone of hacking unless you have solid proof i.e. a video footage.
• Refrain from trashtalking. Many youngsters play on the server.
• Do not abuse the voting rights if it is enabled i.e. spamming votes or starting a vote to kick an innocent player.
• Do not cheat at all costs (Cheating is when a player gets an advantage over all others. This includes hacking).
• Do not spam the chat.
• If you want to make a complaint/suggestion contact one of the admins.
• Refrain from using Martyrdom and Last stand perks
• Refrain from using the Grenade Launcher attachment

During 'Search and Destroy' sessions

• Refrain from using Claymores, C4's and RPG's
• Refrain from using the mounted Machine gun
• Play with team spirit

Admins have the right to take corrective action (kick/temp ban/perm ban) against any player who breaks a rule. It is up to you to obey the rules. Please help us make the server a better place for everyone.
