Classifieds / Re: Selling i3 7100 processor (Used)
« on: November 27, 2021, 05:55:40 pm »
:\ can consider the price and the second link is not i5 6th it's a 1st gen i5 processor in picture can clearly see it's i5-650.
Ah, my bad, didn't go zooming in cuz it was on the mobile.
Still, the price of the i3 stands? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Problem with used i3s is that not many can upgrade to a processor like that if they already have a mobo. And a previous gen i5 part usually has better value/performance during Sandy to Kaby days if buying CPU+MB+RAM. Personal experience, I had a horrible time trying to sell an i3 6100, with warranty for 8K.

Good luck with the sale!

Price can be slightly nego ;D, please contact for more details.

Price 14800/=

Contact 0752263919, 0778589839
Guessing no warranty left? Market price for a dual core 7th gen i3 is ~13-13.5K with 3 months.

Used examples from individuals are priced better

laptop which is suitable for a graphics designing student
Can you quantify expected specs, what applications are used frequently and where would the largest bottleneck be? I'm curious because a lot of people/students have asked me for PC/laptop recommendations on 2D graphic designing but never found it straightforward like 3D modeling and animation, gaming etc.

Around 120,000/=
Hard to buy anything decent locally for that amount, because bargain basement laptops are priced above 100K these days and the used market has also ballooned up in pricing. Know anyone who's coming down to LK for Winter/Christmas? You could get a pretty decent machine for that price; no taxes to boot.

Price Rs. 600,000/- (OFFERS ARE WELCOME!)

Similar performance model available locally that I have seen is ROG SWIFT PG32UQX @ Nanotek for Rs. 725,000/-
We can bring this monitor down for 490,000 LKR (final price), not sure why your pricing is that far off. Does this have an international warranty?

PG32UQX is a $3000 quantum dot IPS monitor with a mini LED backlight, don't think they're directly comparable. And that would cost almost 850K to bring down to LK, so official importer --> Nanotek --> Local sale at 725K is okay, though the unit itself is overpriced.

not interested but price is too much for 2year used item
bnew price is around 70-75k with 2years warranty ...
Agreed, would have cost under 50K 2 years ago. Prices should never appreciate with used items, but this is Sri Lanka so you never know, when looking at prices of crappy decades old cars these days.

Good luck with the sale and migration!

Out of curiosity, since you were looking for a cheap used G27 a couple of months back, did you buy this used from another person at a high price?

Hi guys,

Looking for a 24" monitor with an IPS, PLS or VA panel and slim bezels (such as the pic attached), at a reasonable price. Must have at least 1 year company warranty left.

Please PM if you have one for sale, thanks in advance!

Classifieds / Re: Buying - Graphic Card
« on: November 13, 2021, 06:15:49 pm »
Hi. I want to buy a graphic card. My budget is around 60-70K .
inbox if you have one.

Thanks  :)

You could easily buy a used 1080 or almost new 5600 XT last year for that amount, but now that will get a 1060 6GB or 580 8GB if you're lucky.
Try to bump up your budget slightly and get a at least a 1660 Super with some warranty left. And avoid 900/10 series or RX400/500 cards from the local used market at those prices if possible, because they've usually been thrashed for years and lived in hot humid climates, while almost all are out of warranty.
Or you could try to get a used 2060 under 100K, those should have some warranty left.

Good luck!

If anyone can bring in USDT or BTC I can buy it off them for LKR at 220 LKR per USDT or per dollar of BTC.
Are you offering LKR? Or USD transfers/cash? I don't want Rupees because we need $ or for trading/purchases.

Rate would be a medium between bank rate and street rate
What exactly is the rate you're offering, can you put a number on it? How much PayPal credit can you supply, and is it in USD or GBP or EUR?
Like if you say "I'll send 1000 and you need to deposit xxx,xxx LKR into my local Rupee account", it'd be great.

Just checking based on the current bank regulations imposed on foreign currency (RFC) accounts.
RFC/NRFC accounts are the old types and were replaced by PFCs a while back. No restrictions placed on foreign currency accounts in LK, only on FX transactions via Rupee accounts and LCs.

« on: November 07, 2021, 07:23:02 pm »
Had an older Asus 22" 1080p60 with three lines (highly usable but distracting) up for 2.5K just because I wanted it gone but didn't want to throw away a working unit, yet still no one was interested. Gave it away for ~1000 in crypto, so basically no real cash. Fixed price on a unit with a broken display might not be the best idea, 22/24" replacements panels cost more than a second hand monitor with warranty.

I wanted to check how many people are interested in Paypal credit.

I would transfer the money from my account to yours. You would have to pay the fees.

You can then deposit LKR to my account local account.

I'm not planning on doing it immediately. Just checking based on the current bank regulations imposed on foreign currency (RFC) accounts.

Please reply to the thread or message me if you are interested.

I repeat - This post is to gauge interest ONLY.
What's the rate you're expecting?

If you can supply USDT / BTC I can buy any amount up to $50,000 a day on most days :)
Please clarify?

Aren't you a reseller? Why are you low-balling this guy? I'd have bought one if it was 2TB, just got one yesterday.
This drive is 10K at Nanotek and he's offering a reasonable discount on a sealed drive.
