Communal Assistance / Help needed on "Wake On LAN"
« on: July 15, 2013, 05:20:59 am »
I recently enabled my pc to use "wake on LAN" feature,
Which should enable ability to turn on my pc through the LAN by sending a magic packet (a special code) trough LAN from an another pc or something sort of.

But aftet enabling it,
I could wake my pc only from "sleep" mode and "standby" mode so far.
But I want to wake it from "shut down" mode.

So if you know what to do to enable it,
please teach me how to enable it,

Please.

Communal Assistance / Re: HELP needed on GPU-Z and OpenCL on win8
« on: July 13, 2013, 10:55:55 am »
Sorry to disturbing friends,
I got an another problem.

When I run GPU-Z on my both gtx560ti and gts450,
the "OpenCL" check box is unchecked.

(As I know both gtx560ti and gts450 are OpenCL supported)

What is the reason for that?
And How can I over come from that problem?

Is it means that I can not run OpenCL apps?

Please help me!

I have a Sony Xperia S running JB and I want to use USB tethering feature with a Win8 64bit PC.......

I installed Sony PC Companion on the PC but the PC says there is a problem with the "Remote NDIS based internet sharing" driver and failed to connect to the  net......

But when I plug it to my Win7 32bit running LAP , It works with the same driver ........

Then I heard from the net, It can be fixed by a driver called "Sony Ericsson sa0102 remote NDIS based internet sharing"....
So I installed it too But that also did not work...................

So can some one please help me with this, to get this USB tethering work......
Please!..........

(Same problem even with before upgrading ICS, also)...............

Hardware / Peripherals / PSU compatibility for HASWELL CPUs
« on: May 21, 2013, 09:58:43 am »
HASWELL CPUs are coming soon and I heard that those CPUs have a issue with PSU compatibility due to low power state (c6/c7).......

So can I know, what are the PSUs available in the present market, can be use with HASWELL CPUs ..........................

And I think, It is better to make a list of PSUs in the present market those have full support for HASWELL CPUs........

And one of my friend is going to buy a 500-800w PSU for his old first gen i5 machine ...
so he asked me to find some PSUs for him to choose from.....
(He is planing to upgrade it to HASWELL in future so he needs Haswell compatible PSU).......

A technician that I know very well ,...told me that it is some times risky to use the stock CPU cooler that blows air directly to the MB's VRM area.......... :o
He said that it a most common issue to occur errors due to static electricity because of using stock cpu coolers........
I thought he is lying .........(because most of PCs come with stock CPU coolers)...... ???
Then he showed my some PC MB's VRM areas with stock CPU cooler (including mine)......
And I was admired there was a whole thick layer of dust covering that MB's CPU and VRM area in my PC (only after using 3 months and I asked for his help because my system was unable to boot)......... :\
He showed some PCs also with that dust problem......
He told me that it is too risky to use Stock CPU cooler specially for gaming systems that becomes hot ...(become hot cause CPU cooler fan to spin faster)...
After that I clean my PC every 2 weeks (specially MB's CPU and VRM area).........

What are your ideas?..........Like to know :)

I am looking for good 120mm fans these days ......
I want very silent fans with good CFM (at silent operation and not the highest CFM value)..........
I do not care about lighting so led fans are not essential but I can allow them........

I have only experience with CoolerMaster 120mm Blue/Red LED Fan fans........
These are silent but can hear (not much but can notice) @ 2000RPM (max rpm)....but I had to use these at it's highest rpm to get better CFM (rated @ 90CFM but I do not think it can deliver that much in reality)
I want better fans than these.........

So I want to Know-
What are the best silent fans with better CFM rating in reality (at specific RPM) can find from SL?..............

I am playing with my newly bought i7 3770 and  ASUS P8Z77 V-LX these days........
I found that my Mother board is officially support for this so called "Virtu MVP" and I wanted to test it with my GTX560Ti......
According to ASUS Virtu MVP improves discrete graphics cards performance up to 60% .......................
IS it real?...........
Is it useful to have Lucid Virtu MVP in a motherboard?..........
What about "Lucid Virtu MVP V2.0" ?...............

I want to buy a psu and my ideas are:-
Seasonic G-Series G-650 (SSR-650RM Active PFC F3)
Seasonic X-Series  X-650 (SS-650KM3 Active PFC F3)
Seasonic X-Series  X-650 (SS-650KM Active PFC F3)
Seasonic X-Series X-660 (SS-660KM Active PFC F3)

My questions are:-

Seasonic X-Series  X-650 (SS-650KM3 Active PFC F3) and Seasonic X-Series  X-650 (SS-650KM Active PFC F3) are the same PSU from inside except hybrid fan control?...........
What is the best PSU among those PSUs?................
Where can I buy those PSUs except SS-650KM?...........
Is there any other PSU choices like them?..........
