Communal Assistance / Borderlands GOTY Performance Issues ?

Hey all  :)
I bought Borderlands GOTY and just installed it.
I tried playing it on Full HD but i cant get more than 25-35FPS  :\
It's funny cos Borderlands 2 works fine  o.0
Does anyone know a fix ?
I couldn't find a proper solution online  :no:
