Game Lounge / Muscle Memory Aiming Practice Map

This is a map which will help you to practice your aim.

Basically it was made for CS source by David "deLiGHT"

Information:
In this latest version it includes dots which can be shot and change color to know that you hit them.  When a dot is shot
it will turn green for .3 seconds and then switch back (dots that are already green turn white).  This helps to allow
users to work on their firing along with their aim.

Description and Instructions:
This map is designed to allow players to improve their aim by utilizing repetition to train their muscle memory.   
There are two target ranges on this map, one with 64 color points and the other with 8 designed to allow two methods
of practice.  The 64x section has many more points of reference while the 8x has fewer points but would allow
many more repetitions in the same time period. 

Choose one of the three black squares to stand on for differing distance from the target wall and then move your
crosshair from center to chosen point back and forth for multiple repetitions.  One repetition consists of moving
your crosshair from the center to a chosen point and back, training your muscles to be able to snap to your target
with increased speed and accuracy.

Learn what number of reps works best for you to improve but not burn out such as 25 reps per point on the 64x
or 250 reps per point on the 8x.  Consistant practice over time will be of far greater benefit then doing a huge
amount at once (and will be much easier on your eyes).

Installation

Steam
1) Put the 'musclememory.bsp' map into the maps folder in your c-strike folder
2) Put the 'practice-program-shortcut' on your desktop and right click on it, then click properties
2a) Make sure that the 'Target' is directed to your steam.exe file commonly "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe"
but be sure to leave the launch options in place
2b) Make sure that the 'Start in' is directed to your steam folder commonly "C:\Program Files\Steam"
3) Click 'Apply' and 'OK' and you should be ready.  Simply double click the 'practice-program-shortcut' to begin.


Non-Steam
1) Put the 'musclememory.bsp' map into the maps folder in your c-strike folder
2) Start counter strike.
2) Go to new game
3) Select map musclememory
4) Start playing

Match Rules

     In-Gamerules

        4.91 Bomb Planting

        It is legal to plant in hidden areas or in areas not normally reached through the use of boosting or jumping outside of the normal bomb zone as long as it is possible to defuse the bomb through normal means, including the use of boosting of a player to reach the bomb. If a bomb has been boost planted and the opposing team is unable to reach it due to a lack of players to reach the bomb, then it is still a legal plant. Silent planting is not allowed. Any team caught silent planting the bomb, whether purposefully or accidentally, will forfeit the remaining rounds that half.

        4.92 Boosting

        Player boosting is legal with any number of players. Any area that can be reached on the map is considered a valid position as long as the position is not used to exploit the map by seeing into areas that are not intended. An example is being boosted in Aztec and looking through or over the wall to see where the opposing team is coming from.

        4.93 Map Exploits

        Any team taking advantage of any map exploits, whether new or known, will result in the forfeit for that match. Places like ledges that are accessible through boosting are valid, unless the location results in clipping or looking "over" the map. Multiple infractions of this rule will result in your team being suspended or removed from the league. This includes, but is not limited to the floating box in Nuke, the ledge bug in dust2, or the flash exploit in dust2 or cbble. However, such actions as throwing flashes over walls, as done in inferno and dust2 are perfectly legal. Also taking advantage of a missing texture or piece (which means that spot is see-through) will lead to penalties. CAL will have the final decision on whether something is an exploit.

        4.94 Bans

        Banning while the match is live is NOT allowed. If it happens it will be considered a forfeit win for the opposing team.

        4.95 Shields

        The shield will not be of use in any match. If bought by accident drop and make sure it is in a hidden place within your spawn. If you happen to use the shield you will lose that match at the current score and the remainding rounds will count as wins for the opposite team.
