So guys I started a little DIY project. I sleeved the 6pin pci-e extension 1st and it came out great. . I also laced it to hold the wires in shape.
Now I'm going to start with the 24pin cable and I have a little problem. Extension cable I bought came with white header but I need black, like this one- Anyone know a place to buy it? Or willing to give me your dead PSU one?
And I need some suggestion with pattern selection. I came down to this two but having a hard time picking one 1st? or 2nd?
Lastly I used nylon thread (kite thread ) to lace(sew) the cable together but its a little thick and does't hold the knots together well. Many guides suggested beading thread. Anyone know whats this called in sinhala and where I can find it? 1st?
As you can see my case window has fan grills on it, I like to change it. I found the acrylic sheet is the best way to do it. Only problem is side panel has holes to hold the window. So is there a place to get the sheet cut to the existing window shape so I can use those holes? leaving them open would be ugly. I like to go DIY but I dont have the necessary tools Also can you recommend a place to buy spray paint cans and primer? does every paint shop have those or is there specific place to buy them?
I just sold my vga and tried to power up the PC after connecting the monitor to on-board HDMI. Problem is my pc is booting up normally but monitor is not getting any signal. I tried reconnecting the cable and it doesn't work. I can hear 3 or 4 constant beep when pc boot, so I think display is set to pcie on bios and I cant change it without the display. Any way around it? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!
