No Game Zone / EXMO 2017 - Engineering and Innovation Exhibition

Hello people, there will be an Engineering and Technological Exhibition held at University of Moratuwa. It will be held on April 28 and 29 from 9.00 A.M to 9.00 P.M.

There will be interesting things such as cutting edge technology discussions & demonstrations, awareness sessions, final year projects, robotics (and many other things from many fields) for you to see. I will also be there at Computer Science & Engineering department discussing about virtual reality (there will also be demonstrations using an Oculus Rift DK2). 

Anyone can visit and leave at any time. You don't have to spend a cent. Cheers.

Edit:- Though I posted this in the No Game Zone section, there will be gaming related things as well.

Communal Assistance / [Resolved] Need help with a PC crashing issue.

Hello people. I need some help.

My PC started crashing during gaming a couple of weeks ago. I believe it's related to my graphics card or its driver.

Here are the symptoms,

• Crashes during gaming (any game). The time when the crash occurs is unpredictable.
• Does not crash at all if I'm not gaming.
• When the crash occurs, some vertical distorted lines appear in the screen and then the screen goes black immediately.

Here's what I tried so far,

• Removed the graphics card and reseated it while ensuring all the cables are in place properly.
• Updated the graphics card's driver to the latest version.
• Reverted back to a previous driver version where it used to work without crashing.
• Updated Windows (I was using Windows 7)
• Did a fresh install of windows 10 and tried my luck there.

So far no luck. Crashing still happens.

I'd like some help in determining what's the cause of this.

Hey guys, one of my cousins is looking for a Tab for educational purposes. Her budget is around 25k.

My cousin will be mainly reading e-books and pdf files on it, so it doesn't need to have high performance or any other fancy features. But the build quality is very important and it must have a good battery. It also must have a high quality camera. It also has to be available in Colombo.

I have very little knowledge when it comes to mobile devices so I could use some suggestions from you guys.

What Tab would you guys recommend for the above needs? Also please mention a shop for the purchase.

Hey guys I need your help.Can you tell me where I can get the following parts.

Corsair HX850i Platinum Certified PSU
512 GB SSD ( reliability is the prime factor not the speed)

PS : I"m going to a build a gaming rig  , now that A/L is finished  , but I have trouble finding the above parts in SL.
