Registrations for the qualifier rounds are now closed!

The qualifier Rounds start on Friday and go on for 3 days. 5 Teams in total have registered and the best 3 would get into the Group Stages.

The Lanka Cyber Athlete league is here! The LCAL has changed its policy of registrations to invite only. For season 1 we would be accepting 3 other teams who would have to play qualifying rounds to be accepted. Registrations are now open for the qualifying rounds. Invited teams do not have to register.

Sign ups are now open for the eight team war version 1. This tournament would go through GameBattles Lk under the Csounter Strike 1.6 Teams ladder.

Eight teams will battle it out to win 1000 Xp and rise to the top of the ladder.

LankaGamer turns 1 year old!

Yes, you got me right today we are officially 1 year old. Happy birthday LankaGamer!

LankaGamer has had an awesome year serving the Sriankan Gaming community and will continue to do so in the upcoming years. We have had our up’s and down’s during the last year, but altogether the LankaGamer team has worked towards developing a better tomorrow for Srilankan Gaming!

What we have archived during the year?

- LankaGamer has provided the Srilankan Gaming Community with Gaming and Voice servers all hosted in Srilanka and run with international standards. Our servers are monitored almost 24 Hours and a day and provide the ultimate Gaming experience for the local gaming community

- LankaGamer in Collaboration with LankaEsports launched Srilanaka’s First Gaming Magazine in Srilanka, Gamerda?. Two issues have already been released, with more coming your way. More can be found at www.gamerdamag.com

- LankaGamer has launched Srilanka’s first gaming battles and ladder portal. Gamebattles Lk servers as a perfect medium for Clans to challenge each other and gain popularity amongst the local gamers.  Visit GameBattles Lk at www.gamebattleslk.com

- LankaGamer successfully concluded the 1st Competitive Call of Duty 4 league the LGMCL. Team perks came out on top by destroying all other teams.

- LankaGamer offers Clans with features and tools that will get them to the next level. LankaGamer Clans provides websites, servers and other needs to local clans for a small fee.

Vote of thanks

I personally have a vote of thanks that I would like to share. These are the people and organizations that have helped us grow.

Firstly I would like to thank the LankaGamer team: Gyma, Kaal, Striker, Mafia, Mark (tinman), Madhatter and soo many more who were with us before.

Then I would like to thank the whole team of LankaEsports for supporting us the whole way through and enabling us to carry out our projects with ease. They have been the backbone of LankaGamer and I am very thank full to them.

Then I would like to thank the people who tried to bring us down for making us better.

Finally I would like to thank the entire gaming community and everyone else. Thank you!

Head over on the 13th of June to the World Cyber Games Asian Preliminary’s for cake! Yea you would get cake..

For the future LankaGamer would become bigger and better. A heads up LAN Tournaments on the way!

5 Team War, is a tournament done by GameBattles LK for the Counter Strike 1.6 ladders. 5 teams can take part and battle it out to win important Xp points that will give a good head start on the ladders!
