« on: January 18, 2016, 06:08:19 pm »
hello gamers.

now that i have lots of free time on my hands, i would like to hear your opinion and advice on the matter.
lately ive been uploading game streams and gameplays, unfortunately high quality stream becoming impossible, network is getting lots of spikes resulting loss of frames(typical sri lankan shit its a gampaha region issue. no problem on kadawatha area sigh), so ill be uploading local record live videos.

No Game Zone / 2011 Earth Hour turn offff the lights today! 8pm to 9pm
« on: March 26, 2011, 07:21:13 pm »
For the second consecutive year, Sri Lanka will observe Earth Hour today with ministries, government institutions, private sector firms and civil organizations taking part in the switching off of lights for an hour, Earth Hour Sri Lanka Chairman Abdul Qadir Uwais said yesterday.

He said more than 4,000 cities in 131 countries including Sri Lanka would switch off the lights in many of their land mark buildings – the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt; Eiffel Tower in Paris; Times Square in New York and the Sydney  Opera House and Bridge in Australia -- between 8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. their time in a symbolic gesture against climate change.

“The Sri Lanka 2011 Earth Hour Brand Ambassadors are Bathiya and Santhush. They will perform live at the Galle Face Green tonight from 8.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.,” Mr. Uwais said adding that the brand ambassadors invited all their fans to extend their support by switching off extra lights and to be with them during this hour.

India’s Earth Hour ambassador is Bollywood actress Vidya Balan while former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram is his country’s brand ambassador.

Mr. Uwais said Sri Lanka’s Trade and Environment Ministry has pledged its support for the event while many private sector firms would also be among those observing Earth Hour.

Meanwhile going beyond Saturday’s Earth Hour, Western Province Environment Minister Udaya Gammanpila had urged Sri Lankans to switch off their lights on Sunday as well between 8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.

what this tool exactly do?.  detect any modern virus that infiltrate to you flash drive or HD partitions
when a virus is infiltrate inside of the flash drive, the lock icon will be disappear,
noticing you that there is a virus inside of the flash or hd partitions,  so you can easily update your virus guard & remove the virus.
or you can  manually remove the virus

Action/Adventure / Super Street Fighter IV confirmed for spring 2010
« on: September 30, 2009, 02:01:50 pm »

nhanced version of SFIV includes additional characters, gameplay tweaks and an improved online mode based on community feedback.

Capcom announced a release date for Super Street Fighter IV today, confirming our suspicions that the next entry in the series will be a new version of SFIV sold with enhanced features at a lower price.

Capcom confirms fresh faces and old favorites like T. Hawk are dropping in next spring.

The press release we found in our inbox this morning remains cagey on specific details, promising only that SSFIV adds "about eight characters new to the world of Street Fighter IV." The approaching challengers include a mix of returning characters (like the infamous T. Hawk) and fresh faces (the enigmatic Korean tae kwon do master Juri.)

Compatability issues mean players can't take Juri online against owners of vanilla SFIV.

Capcom further promises players an improved multiplayer mode with new matchmaking features and a refined play experience (including new Ultra Combos) based on community feedback. However, be warned that Super Street Fighter IV players will not be able to play online against owners of the original Street Fighter IV. Producer Yoshitori Ono commented during a GameSpot preview that the new features were a drastic change that necessitated new multiplayer code incompatible with the original game, which is why the title will be released separately instead of as SFIV DLC. Ono also promised that Capcom will offer current SFIV owners an incentive for upgrading, so don't chuck your discs just yet.

First Person Shooters / Halo 3: ODST' plays it safe
« on: September 24, 2009, 12:42:46 am »
Quote

For all the talk about a different experience, Halo 3: ODST still feels largely like textbook Halo.

The latest chapter in the Halo universe provides a satisfying side-story to complement Master Chief's greater escapades from the trilogy. However, it's unfortunate developer Bungie didn't commit more to ODST's unique approach.

ODST places players on New Mombasa in a tale that takes place between the events of Halo 2 and Halo 3. A rookie orbital drop shock trooper (ODST) begins his descent into the fictional east African city when something goes wrong and his pod crashes. The rookie wakes up six hours later and scours the city at night in search of his fellow ODSTs.

The most notable difference between ODST and previous Halo titles is the absence of Master Chief. Players will handle a rookie that's slightly slower and not nearly as resilient.  Master Chief could enter fights with reckless abandon, taking shot after shot and obliterating foes like a modern day action hero.  The rookie, however, must play more carefully, utilizing cover and staying hidden to succeed.

Vital stats are represented by a stamina gauge - which works similarly to Master Chief's shields - and a health meter. When the rookie's stamina is depleted, enemies can quickly whittle down his health, which can later be replenished with health packs. Bungie added some clever touches to convey the rookie's vulnerability, such as heavy breathing when his health nears critical status.

The rookie also sports new firepower: a silenced machine gun and silenced pistol that packs way more punch than earlier Halo handguns. Both weapons zoom much closer, allowing him to safely pick apart foes from a distance.

To navigate New Mombasa, players use a special night vision visor that outlines enemies, fellow soldiers and key items. The visor also disperses data updates the rookie will use to find clues into his teammates' whereabouts, as well as hidden audio files for additional background. While players will experience a sense of openness roaming the dark streets of New Mombasa, key waypoints are set up in a linear order that doesn't make exploration quite appealing.

By Microsoft/Bungie
When the rookie finds an important clue, players enter a Flashback sequence where they assume the role of another ODST. These levels feel exactly like the Halo of old. Players dodge Covenant enemies such as grunts, brutes and hunters. Halo's vast array of weapons are available, including Brute Shots, Needlers, Shotguns and Plasma Grenades. The dynamic, open battles veteran players are accustomed to return as well.

Combat is as entertaining as ever, but it's disappointing that ODST doesn't delve deeper into that dark, open environment the rookie inhabits. The game shows so much potential in terms of creating combat that's more tactical and more rooted in stealth strategies, as well as delivering an inviting open world.

Instead, roughly two-thirds of ODST's combat feels very much like a traditional Halo game. As a result, it's hard to view this six-hour campaign as a truly unique experience and more of a simple expansion of Halo 3.

Where ODST shines brightest is Firefight, a cooperative mode where players try to survive waves of Covenant enemies. Two players can tackle Firefight offline, or up to four people can battle together online.

Players earn points for each Covenant kill, with tougher enemies netting bigger bounties. The badges fans of Halo 3's multiplayer have come to know appear as well, such as Overkill (kill four enemies at once) and Killing Spree (five kills in a row). As enemies are depleted, an announcer shouts "Reinforcements!"; signalling the arrival of Covenant ships and stronger forces.

Firefight's variety of maps and reward system make the mode incredibly fun. The big drawback is a lack of online matchmaking, a glaring oversight in the era of Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2's similar Horde mode. A separate disc packaged with ODST gives players access to Halo 3's complete multiplayer experience, a solid addition for those new to Halo or the downloadable map packs.

The Halo formula still works pretty well, and ODST is proof of that.  It's just too bad the game didn't deliver more unique elements to refresh the franchise.
