Communal Assistance / Best Data Recovery place?
« on: January 04, 2019, 07:51:26 am »
Looking for a good data recovery place in sri lanka... The ones who are capable of replacing heads or changing platters. A friend of mine has a 80GB WD HDD with sensitive data in it.

The head is giving out a clicking noise.

So it cannot be given to someone who is going to try. Called a few places, they seemed not sure.. so want to avoid the risk since other places will not take in drives that has been tried out by others.

Guys, need some help with this one.

I have a Mac formated pen drive which a 196MB EFI partion shows up when pluged in.

I tried mediafour MacDrive 10
and HFS Explorer which did not work.. any other ideas. I need to get the data out of the pen drive.

why does this laptop only appear in Sri Lankan Sites, no support whatsoever from asus?

Disabling CSM boots the laptop into the BIOS, enabling it detects no HDD's, has anyone come across this problem before?

Communal Assistance / Clone Display option missing in Windows 10?
« on: June 10, 2016, 09:32:32 pm »
one of my cuzin has a DELL XPS 15 notebook, recently I installed windows 10 into it and now after plugin in the HDMI to the TV I can only extend or use either one, bit not clone which I was able to before windows 10

what I noticed today was that the laptop display is using the Intel HD Graphics and HDMI is on nVidia, so both relevant vendor settings panel (intel and nVidia) only shows there is one display connected.

Windows detects 2 but no cloning. Anyway I can overcome this and clone?

Communal Assistance / How good is the Magnum Pro X275
« on: May 30, 2016, 10:47:09 am »
Good Morning to all you peeps....  :)

My question today is how good is the Powerlogic Magnum Pro X275 for a generic PSU for office use, or is there any other good budget PSU's out there that I can use.

the reason for my question is recently I faced with a PC's Hard Drive being busted (TVS Diodes) due to a surge (probably lightning around the area or could be caused by a line surge) and the PSU that was installed was intact, also causing the motherboard to fail.

So I opened up the PSU and realized that a lot more components are missing than usual (no filters, No TVS Diodes), I guess the cheap PSU manufacturers are cutting down more and more on the cost and replacements.

So I need a solution to a good PSU but  affordable for a regular use. So far My choice is the powerlogic's Magnum Pro X275.

Hi what would be the best buy

for a graphics card to work with Adobe Premiere Pro (4k Timelines)
After effects
Cinema 4D
