Hi Mate, is this for your O11 D Mini?

i had the same issue when i was putting together my O11 D build. Have you already acquired the fans separately? or are you thinking of purchasing a set? this may come with a fan hub.

Option 1

Assuming you have already bought the fans, there are a few places that may sell the fan hub. The cheapest option i saw was at gamestreet which was a Raidmax hub. but i think it is not in stock, check the link below.

Another choice i had was to buy a 3rd party fan hub which can be universally compatible with most fans brands but you will have to check reviews before purchase.

You can also but corsair option where you may have to corsair fans which 3 pin argb compatibl.

Option 2

You will need to acquire a set where you purchase the fans and the hub. you can easily 3 or 5 fan packs which will come with an included hub. locally, it is difficult to source but you can try Gamestreet and they have Raidmax 3 fan pack which comes with a hub.

You also should have options like a corsair, cooler master if you look around. i have also seen a sri lankan brand being sold in smaller lankan fb pages, not sure about the hub or reliability.

I personally went ahead with a Antec Prism Fan Kit which came with 5 fans and a hub for ARGB and PWM. the fans can spin up to 2000 rpm and are pretty quiet. If you are interested, i have four fans and hub that i had bought extra which i am selling as a kit, let me know.

Even i wanted to build something similar but gave up on an ITX build size because it was difficult to get the case. I finally settled on a E-ATX case which has around 8 x3.5" HDD slots.

I cannot advice on the RAM, but on the CPU, try undervolting. I had the same issue with my R5 3600 with the same AIO, hitting near 75 - 80. After undervolting AND applying an overclock of 4.5Ghz it never went above 60c.

But given that you have a 5900X, I expect the temps to be a bit high.

Thank you, this is quite useful. let me do some additional reading and see what i can do.

I'm sharing a message from Blu3Haze, where we went back and forth trying to figure it out for my PC :)

"..X53 is good too, pricey though! One of my friends used it with a 8600K and temps were pretty decent. 70C is well below the limits for Ryzen.
AMD does overvolt the CPU even at stock settings, more so with PBO which I'm not that happy with and always tune it. Drops temps and power consumption. I'd expect you to stay in low 60s and under at all time if you tune for efficiency.

This is quite useful, i will read through and see what i can do. Did you run into any problems when you tried to undervolt.

Out Of Topic Bt Plz Consider Upgrading Ur Mother Board To A Higher END ONE (X570 Chipset)

When i did my research, i did not see any significant difference between a B550 and the X570. That is why i thought of going for a higher end B550 board like Asus ROG Strix B550-F

Hey Guys, i have finally put my build together and it is running smooth, but i have a question about thermals as i have no idea what the lankan benchmark ahould be.

These are my current specs

Ryzen 9 5900x
32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 16-18-18-36
Asus B550-F
Asus TUF RTX 3080

At idle, My CPU is at around 42C and GPU is around 45C. Whilst playing Horizon Zero Dawn, CPU is at 80C and GPU is around 65C which is quite toasty.

I am not concerned with my GPU performance as i think the thermals are doing quite well at 90% utilization but i am not sure if i should worried about my CPU. I know that my CPU is rated up to an 80C temp but i am not sure if this is reasonable or not.

Also i am trying to check my CAS latency for RAM but i can't seem to interpret the CPU-Z reading. a screenshot is attached, would someone be able to let me know if it fits the advertised latency on the card. Fyi- i could not find a KIT so i bought two ram sticks with the identical spec.

I am willing to part with them for 15k. So there will be 4 argb fans along with a hub included. The hub is powered via sata power cable. It has 5 pwm ports and 5 3 pin argb ports.

If you are interested in 120mm fans, let me know.

I have four Antec Prizm 120 ARGB fans which is left over from my build.

All four fans are brand new and have not been used.

Can you PM me the prices?

Classifieds / Advice on Graphic Card (Buying Advice)
« on: February 06, 2021, 12:12:10 am »
Not sure if this is the right place for this topic

My final component of my build is the graphic card which I finally collected enough cash to purchase. This is a discussion I briefly had with briefly had with bluehaze as well some time back.

The choice I am facing is between a RTX 3080 and RX6800 XT. my use case is to play games in 1440p res (hopefully dual monitors in the future), I mostly play open world games and I also wanted to bit of additional work such as video editing as well.

One of my concerns is that the needs to be somewhat future proof (ideally at least for the next 3 years, hopefully??). I still think Ray tracing has a long way to go so it really it doesn't matter to me.

I would have leaned on RTX 3080 but it is only 10gigs where as 6800XT has 16gb and I see some games already using 10gb vram.

What do you guys think, which is more suitable and be more value to me.
