Not a good idea imo, since it's region locked all countries which is not EU are considered US. So you won't be able to play if your account is flagged as EU. @ daelin according to my research, Far Shiverpeaks seems to be the Unofficial Dutch/Scandinavian Server, so you might want to consider Gandara, Desolation or Whiteside Ridge

We've been playing all this time on FS and people hardly speak anything other than English.

ANet has already said they will be adding switchable localities later on, so people really aren't that concerned. Or at least, they shouldn't be.

As far as I'm concerned, staying on the same server as one of the top WvW guilds means we will get some nice server buffs, as well as being able to join up with them later on, for some good PvP!

You have a point, but the "guesting" feature you mentioned only works for pve, for wvwvw you're stuck with the home server. Anyway If you guys don't mind count me in :p

It's downloading all the stuff now... I actually dont know why I pre purchased it since I cant play till 25th August.. But Oh well.
Downloading at about 600-800 kbps. Best part is it's downloaded 200MB and it's at 0%... I can Imagine how big this game is

I was done wtih downloading a long time ago. I got on the August 9th stress test but was unable to get on this one.

There were majority english speakers.. but some people were speaking french

Gandara or Desolation was my initial plan, but seeing some of the posts here I'll be joining Far Shiverpeaks (or what ever the eu server where there will be fellow sri lankan players)

Edit: So what professions are you guys planning on taking? I'm torn between Ranger(axe/warhorn & Greatsword), Warrior(longbow), and Elementalist
