According to PC Msater "Zero" a person can run a 1000W PSU on a flexible wire using 3A circuit breaker that originally intended for a LED, COZ IT'S SOLD by RED LINE , ITS BRAND NEW and IT HAS WARRANTY........ and coz PSU is BATMAN's PSU........ so it won't fail, if it fails its a BAD psu, not it was given insufficient Energy(Electricity).... so this is his KOTTU bass theory.

It's a Gigabyte RX 480 G1 4GB, i'm not sure the PCB revision.

I also have another rig with a GTX 970.

both are on a z97  board with i5 4690s.

Any good quality 500W PSU will comfortably power a 480. The PCI-E power draw issues of early models have been fixed via a WattMan and/or BIOS update with little to no loss of performance.
