So yeah, I was right more or less. The situation is bad, that you can't deny. Having a fibre connection, the speeds are great, but the "GB" prices, man...

caps started as way to manage congestion but now its mostly about profit. if it was really about congestion bandwidth caps can be applied at only peak times and off peak can be kept unlimited. here is a nice writeup on the matter

Hi,

Overall a great computer. You will definitely have lots of fun. :D

You might want to take a look at the MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon. This is a great mainboard I can recommend.
Also, you should take a look at the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition 11GB GDDR5X. This card is a beast (I don't know how much it is in Sri Lanka, but in germany it would also be around 130k).

Zotac 1080 is a beast but they ruined the black plate with that "push to the limit " and  BS color theme ..
hope they wont put that shit in the ti version  :D :D

thanks again man  (Y) (Y)

1. Is it i7 7700K or i7 7700? It's prudent to go with a K series SKU at this kind of budget. It's worth the additional 7k or 8k you spend. Else, you could cut down on the mobo. Go for a H series SKU, with a non K CPU.

2. It's always preferred you choose the Mobo & GPU from the same manufacturer (could be a personal preference or due to my OCD). MSI had some optimization for MSI Mobo & GPU combo back then, but not sure what the story now.

3. That cooler though...

4. With that much horse power why an FHD monitor? Go for a 1440p or 4K. Not even 1070 breaks a sweat running 1080p.

5. Don't buy JetFlo 120mm. They are freaking loud. Since you have a Corsair case, go with Corsair fans (OCD again)

I just searched multiple sites, even in india to see if they deliver to Sri Lanka but couldn't find anything unfortunately. :(
Maybe it's possible to order it at this shop: http://www.eglobe.lk/
That the only licensed shop for Zotac products according to Zotacs official website.

Also I found this page, which might help you: https://www.myus.com/
As ar as I understood, you can shop in US online stores and let the stuff get send to Sri Lanka by them.

The graphic card itself is a beauty. Here you can find the specs and pictures: https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/zotac-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-founders-edition

I should've say this, that M.2 is no go unless its a NVME drive. Imposrt MVME drive.
Plain M.2 is just pricey and offers no performance over traditional SSD, except getting hot, ;D temperature wise.
