Try BetterNet. I get 4MBPs down when.... creatively downloading at school. That's Megabytes, not bits.

Choosing a Laptop - Need your Opinion
« on: January 09, 2017, 01:54:30 pm »
I will be getting a laptop through the university student offer.
Currently have my eyes on the Acer one by Metropolitan. I guess it's the better choice. Other than that, the dell lap by softlogic seems to be the better one from all..
I'd like to know your opinion on this before I confirm it.

There might be better laptops for that price in the market. But unfortunately they aren't covered by the laptop offer, which is a sick deal. So let me know.
If you think some other lap covered by the offer is better than this let me know as well. Thanks!  ;D

1. Acer laptop from Metropolitan (ACER ASPIRE E5-575G)

Intel 7th Generation Core i5-7200U Processor
8GB DDR4 RAM | 1 TB HDD
15.6" FULL HD LED Backlit screen
Nvidia Geforce 2GB GT940MX DDR5
Genuine Windows 10 Pre-installed (optional)
05 Years Warranty
03 year manufactures' warranty/ one year for battery, 04th & 05th service warranty
McAfee 3 year licence + carrying case

2. The Dell one by Softlogic (Dell Vostro 15 3568)

let me know your opinion. Thanks  :)

Student offers are provided by Authorised distributors and the price is only for them. But products are available from that at a different price to the dealers like us and the warranty is 3 Yrs Parts.
