Guess most of u dont hav time to read books.. But I'm a big SF & Fantasy fan..so in short this is the best book about gaming I've ever read..also One of THE BEST SF books of 2011..period..

The story is set in 2044 where the world has gone to shit...So most people spend their waking hours in the OASIS, a virtual reality MMO game.

When James Halliday, the creator of OASIS, dies he leaves an easter egg, a prize embedded in the game which is his entire fortune of 200 Billion $s... To find the egg, u hav to find 3 hidden keys that unlock 3 hidden gates..to do this the hunters immerse themselves in 80s trivia+ 80's vedio games, which gives them clues on where the keys & the gates r located which points to the final price..in short its... World of Warcraft + Indiana Jones in the Matrix

If u enjoy retro games you'll worship this book..if u r a MMO player you will cry at the future of your medium wich this book presents..in fact if u have played any vedio game ever..you will love this book

So I finished reading this. The beginning was not that special but as the story went on it really got better. The ending was kinda emotional and damn exciting. Overall a pretty good read.
Not sure if editing my post would bump this thread so that is why I'm double posting, so others can see it.
Pretty good read and I recommend it specially if you love retro games.
