Asus Nvidai is by so far the most strongest vga manufacturer with nvidias CUDA gpu chip. maximum performances. and at least 10% more performance than evga

proof?
I have used almost every kind of processor vga thats available, i dont need proof, its the experiance thats talking. Preformance dosent means the one in a way to show, eg evga even its clock speed for gtx 460 is 680mhz asus has 720mhz, and runs at 700 while evga runs at 580

Does the brand matter? Price per performance is what matters to me.

But I'd go with MSI and XFX. They are the cheapest over here.

The local dealers sometimes go a little nuts and sell MSI cards at ridiculously low prices. My vote on them :D

I am a fanboy of performance... since the 5970 was released, i was a HUGE ATI fan, i even had two of them in my Area 51ALX..

but now, the 580 definitely has best performance.. So my vote goes to nvidia.. and, i love EVGA coz their warranty is fabulous... and they are the only company that has authorized dealers in SL..

here's proof that performance differences are mostly based on clock speed. doesn't have anything to do with brand. you pay more for higher clocks, better cooling. Doesn't make it the better card than the other.
