exactly, you get nothing to do in cod, except shoot people and helicopters or blast some tanks
door openings, vehicle driving etc is done by bots/AI... and i like the way BFBC2 story goes
and Medal of Honor just came out of nowhere and hit the jackpot (way better than older ones)
and im waiting for Crysis 2 and hopes that it wont be crap like "Black Ops"

and in the end cod kills about half of the characters in the game (cod4 : jackson, lt. vasquez, griggs, gaz and mw2 : roach, ghost, and im glad at least they protected price and soap. )

and bc2 is good anyway. and rabbit is bit more cooler than soap

The COD series and BC series should not be compared. COD is a more fast paced FPS which enables individual play most of the time. On the other hand BC is of slightly slower pace encouraging team play. You cannot win a BF game without team work.

It caters to 2 different groups of ppl within the same genre. Personally I like both games, currently I play BC2 a lot cos BO lags like hell when playing with C2D .

Interestingly MoH stands between the 2. Pace wise its between COD and BC. There are some game types which encourages heavy team play in MoH and some can be won by one man army kinda plays. Its strikes a balance between the 2 extremes.

i dont agree to the fact that both games could not be compared . both games belongs to the main genre of " first person shooter " , may i also tell you that when your online on a server on both games you need a good team to win , other than on free for all mode .

so now that we know online killstreak rewards include explosive R/C cars, guided missiles and controllable attack helicopters in cod black ops ! thats not new and i dont think its a big deal since i already saw those on front lines fuel of war which is also a first person shooter game which was released in 2008  .

so now we know cod series doesnt provide anything new at all . which sucks , ability to drive vehicles or tanks or fly helicopters with team mates controlling the main guns and flying around in jets doing bombing runs and shooting down anyone with cool weapons , thats what bf bc 2 is all about . and remote control stuff already owned by a 2008 game so get over it cod ! .

It belongs to the same genre, but they cater 2 different types of tastes. In COD there is a good chance that if a team has one or two really good players, that team would win. In BC2 that is not possible. You cannot win a BC2 game without at least half the team playing sensibly.

The problem with COD whining is COD4 set the bar so high that it is unfair to expect anything like that again in the near future. Activision, being the money mongering b*****ds, is milking the franchise with yearly COD releases. So all the devs in this case trey arch can do is tweak the system. That they have done well. The wager matches are a very good addition to the mix IMO.

Most of the things available in BC2 were also available in previous BF titles. They have also tweaked the existing formula. The only new thing in BC2 that adds a twist is the Destruction 2.0.

I am not saying the COD is the best game, what I am saying is that the 2 games focus on 2 different aspects of the same genre with different pacings. A loose analogy would be cars. You have the mass produced corollas, sunnies etc and you have the more high end sports cars 370z, Supras and Eclipses. They are all cars, but different in their focus.

but at least BC2 has an epic campaign, and I can't remember a campaign in Battlefield 2, which means it's a new thing

as far as i can remember bf 2 had no campaign but it was one of the coolest online games around years ago , i was addicted to it . you had the ability to play against A.I. bots though thats the only thing offline single player mode offered in bf 2 .

ya i remember , when i was playing bf 2 like a mad dude online years ago suddenly that bad company 1 thing came out i was surprised , and when i saw its only available for ps 3 and x box 360 i was like wtf ?? lol .

Well atleast its obvious SC2 is the best RTS game this year
COD BO was not good as MW series but its OK and i totally <3 Battlefield bad company 2 makes me feel badass

NFS HP is the best game of the year. HP gameplay and graphics are awesome.
My second vote goes for COD BO. Gameplay is awesome. but narrative is not good as MW.
and the third best game of the year is MOH.
