Due to being out of the country and other personal issues, I have been away from this site. But, as of today, I'm back at your beck, call and whim (within reason). I was pleasantly surprised I still have mod capabilities, so yeah. Hit me up if you folks need anything in one of my boards.

Classifieds / [Buying] 2GB DDR1 RAM
« on: February 03, 2010, 02:16:33 pm »
I'm upgrading my old machine so i was wondering if any of you would have 2 1GB DDR1 RAM sticks or a 2GB DDR1 RAM stick to sell. (400Mhz and frankly I haven't seen 2GB DDR1 sticks) if you do, PM me or reply in this thread.

In the mean time, can any of you tell me the general price of a 1GB DDR1 RAM?? I'm too lazy to go to a shop or call and ask. Thanks in advance.

Hardware / Peripherals / Looking for an AGP VGA
« on: November 26, 2009, 08:47:37 am »
ok, so I'm looking for a AGP graphics card that wouldn't cost too much. I'm a nVidia nut so I'd prefer a Geforce 7300 or a 7600 but I wouldnt mind a Radeon 2600XT as well. Hit me up with your offers. Warranty is preferred although driver cd's and cables are not a must.

I have counter-strike non-steam version and when I play back demos of games, the voice communication is all scrambled. A friend told me that this is because I don't have steam. Does anyone know a way to watch the demos with voice communication without actually buying steam and/or steam CS??
                 Cheers!

Classifieds / [Buying] Vista Compatible PCI sound card
« on: July 16, 2009, 05:16:11 pm »
I need a vista compatible PCI sound card. Doesn't have to be branded but should be reliable. Nothing fancy, just good old 2 channel sound. Cheaper the better. Any offers?? If not, do any of you know the market price of such a card?

Hardware / Peripherals / What is the best AGP card to buy?
« on: July 09, 2009, 07:07:27 pm »
Alright so I got a router and I'm going to create a LAN for my machine, my friends laptops and my dad's machine so when my friends come over we can play multiplayer easily. The problem is my dad's machine is a relatively  older 3Ghz P4 HT  and it doesn't have PIC-E slots and currently it's running on the on-board VGA. So what's the best AGP graphics card i can get in Sri Lanka?? (for around 8k) (I have nothing against ATI but I've been using nVidia all my life) What should it be?
