    S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat takes PC gamers once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. This so-called “Zone” is a highly contaminated area cordoned off by the military and now is combed through by the so-called s.t.a.l.k.e.r.s, modern fortune hunters, in search of unique artefacts. In the role of Agent Alexander Degtyarev, who is dressed up as s.t.a.l.k.e.r., the player has to investigate the mysterious disappearance of five military helicopters and thereby stand one’s ground against the various s.t.a.l.k.e.r. groups.

    reviews say its less buggy n wayy better than the first two installments in the series. gotta check it out! love the atmosphere in the old ones!

    Yeah i have this game with me and i think the game is really a game to play Smiley. I loves this game then the earlier ones

    Oh they finally got the english version out? IIRC the Russian version has been out for ages.

    How to fix the start-up crash on Windows 7 64-bit

    Browse to the folder where the game stored user data, by default this is C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat (if you installed the game for all users, look under C:\Users\Public\Documents\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat\) Delete everything inside this folder including subfolders and files (if any).

    Launch the game from Stalk-COP.exe !

    I found an amazing mod, this makes the game soooooooo much better, only problem is you are gonna have to start a new game but trust me it is worth it.

    It's STALKER, lots of walking but you can jump to certain locations with the use of a guide. Strange story and the Zone is still the same as it was in the other games. I give it a 'meh' rating..... >_>
