The Band was "Nirvana" & the Single was "Smells Like Teen Spirit".. This song single headedly saved the Genre of Metal from the depths it had fallen & gave a fresh breath of air for the suffocating masses of Metal heads.
Nirvana introduced the Sub-Genre "Grunge" to the World & "Nevermind".. one of the all time greatest albums ever released (according to some) was one of their highlights.
But in 1993, In their Last studio Released album, Nirvana wanted to be the furthest away from the polished style of "Nevermind". They wanted it Raw & wanted to capture the Natural Sound of the Band..
It was so raw, that the Record Label refused to Release the album in its original stage. But Nirvana stuck to their guns & "In Utero" was the result.
In Utero is Nirvana's perfect Album.. Not Nevermind..Dont be fooled by the Critics.. If you want to listen to Niravana in their purest form.. this is the Album you should listen to... In a Nutshell "In Utero" is the Best Album that Niravana ever released & the Best album of the entire genre of "Grunge"
