How to make it faster.

Simple tutorial.

STEP 1 : go to preferences

STEP 2: go to connection

STEP 3: Set the Port used as 45682

STEP 4: go to Bandwidth

STEP 5: put max upload rate to 0 and max download rate to 0

STEP 6: put global max connections to 130 and Max no. of peers to 70

STEP 7: Put no. of slots to 3 and tick use additional slots

STEP 8: Then go to Bittorrent

STEP 9: Then set the outgoing to enable

STEP 10: go to queueing and put max torrents to 2 and max active downloads to 1

STEP 11: Go to advance (now dont mess up in here, this is important part)

STEP 12: search the net.max_halfopen file and put it to 90

DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT IN THE ADVANCE AREA

No. the only thing your whole connection will focus on utorrent. You wont be able to do anything else. Max download speed is 59kbps. It rose from 12 kbps to 59kbps.

If somebody uses a Dongle i think that person can reach up to 90 KB/S. Because if you use a USB Modem or a router the reqest will always go to your ISP directly. So they will cut out the boost and your connection will never go beyond 52 KB/S. My grand father had a Dialog dongle once and i was download torrents that day. I was amazed that the speed reached 90 KB/S.

Nothing happened to my router. But the speed didn't went beyond 42 KB/S. He must be joking, no damage will happen to your router or modem.
