well i have benig following toms charts + other articales for a long time now . have  to say these charts helped me a lot when it comes to make the final decision regarding H/W upgrades. so accordingly im trying to jump to i7930 from E6750 ! xD
i7 4770, EVGA GTX 970, 2Gb*4 DDR3 ram, Creative X-fi fatality champion pro sound card, Asus Z97-PRO GAMER , WD 1TB HD, OCZ agility3 90Gb SSD, OCZ Arc 100 240gb SSD, cooler master elite 430 enclosure, Logitech Z5500 sound system, Samsung TOC 24" LCD,Corsair STRAFE RGB MX RED key board, Logitec G502 protius core mouse.

I'm been a great fan of Tom's Hardware Graphics Card Hierarchy chart! That is until they put the Geforce GTX 260, GTX 275, GTX 460, GTX 465, Radeon HD 4870, HD 4890, HD 5770, and HD 5830 all on the same tier... I mean WTF people!!!

i guess you can split it in two:

GTX 275, GTX 465, HD 4890, HD 5830, GTX 460 1GB

GTX 260, GTX 460 768MB, HD 4870, HD 5770
