you can get a second hand 960 for that price. Good luck.

I've been crazy about building PCs all my teenage life. The time has come to let that expensive habit go.

Considering a 970 goes for around 10k more, you can easily pay your electricity bill difference for about two years from that extra 10k.

Actually those calculations are incorrect , considering domestic electricity bill calculations increased by 30 unit basis . but no need to argue because it will go on and on , eventually admins will will as the other little children here worship them :D
10k is not nearly enough for 5 months , since there are more electric items in a house than a VGA card & they wil also add in with the bill :D

Go for a latest model ( graphic card ) suited for ur screen resolution needs ( eg: 1050TI OC for a 1080p display )

XD

I switched from a 970 to a 290x for around 3 months (until I got my RX 480), and my electricity bill went up by maybe 400 bucks (from just over 3500 per month to closer to 4000). I game 2-3 hours a day. Nothing else changed in terms of electrical equipment in that time period. So this estimation comes based on observation and not theory. If you prefer the theoretical approach, I can do the math for you as well.
